Doctrine and Covenants 3:12–“Don’t Give the Sacred to the Wicked” by grego

When I read this:
DC 3:12 And when thou deliveredst up that which God had given thee sight and power to translate, thou deliveredst up that which was sacred into the hands of a wicked man,

I thought about daughters, and how I need to not deliver them up “into the hands of a wicked man”/ wicked men when they start dating and afterwards.
