Book of Mormon | Alma: A Type of Christ?

A few years ago I wrote this:

Alma was the chief judge of the Nephites, but he left his judgment seat as the only way to save his people.
Yet, the people he was sent to save, took him before their little itsy-bitsy proud chief judge to be judged illegally and unjustly.
That chief judge passed illegal and unfair judgment.
The chief judge then made Alma suffer the agony of watching others die, and then Alma was taken to prison.
Before they were to kill him (I strongly suppose), he was delivered from prison, and “rose up” out of the prison ruins.

I see a sort of type in this.
