Book of Mormon | Questions I Can’t Answer Well

Book of Mormon | Questions I Can’t Answer Well
by grego

As seems typical in recent “Mormon apologetics”, the anti-LDS questions are usually much easier to answer than the questions the LDS ask and ponder themselves. (Let’s see if the anti-LDS can have a little respect, or let’s see if these questions start showing up on anti-LDS websites with clamors for answers and mouth-foaming.) I’ll keep adding to this list any others I can think of in my Book of Mormon study. If anyone has a possible answer or speculation (good, though), please add!

1. Why didn’t Zeezrom and the others kicked out with him tell the Nephites/ Nephite chief judge about the situation in Ammonihah (getting kicked out, Alma and Amulek, problems with religion and politics, etc.) and get some help?
grego’s answer: I have no clue. Maybe something about apostate cities? Maybe there was more, but Mormon didn’t include it.

2. Why didn’t Alma and Amulek tell the Nephites/ Nephite chief judge about the situation in Ammonihah (abuse of position, illegality of it all, problems with religion and politics, etc.)?
grego’s answer: The guilty were all already dead. Still, I don’t know why it just seems to stop there. Maybe there was more, but Mormon didn’t include it.
